水進入柴油發(fā)電機組空氣中的水氣在溫度的改變下會發(fā)生冷凝現(xiàn)象，結(jié)成水珠掛附在油箱內(nèi)壁，當水珠流入柴油后，就會使柴油含水量超標，當這樣的柴油進入發(fā)動機高壓油泵后，就會銹蝕精密偶合件，假設(shè)嚴重的話就會損壞機組,柴油發(fā)電機組工作過程中，油污或雜質(zhì)會沉積在濾網(wǎng)壁上，而過個會使濾器過濾功能下降，沉積過多，油路將無法疏通，當設(shè)備工作時將會因油無法供應而不能正常使用。

潤滑系統(tǒng)、密封件由于潤滑油或油酯的化學特性及機械磨損后發(fā)生的鐵屑，這些不止降低了它的潤滑效果，還會損壞其它零部件，一同由于潤滑油對橡膠密封圈有一定的腐蝕效果，其它油封本身也隨時而老化使其密封效果下降。

線路連接靜音柴油發(fā)電機假設(shè)使用時間過長的話，線路接頭就有可能松動，需要定期的檢查。
